Hey, fellow crafters! I hope you’ve been practicing your crochet stitches! Now that you know how to chain and single crochet, let’s add another stitch to your repertoire, the Double Crochet!
Abbreviated “dc,” this stitch is my favorite because it is simple to master, has a fluid motion that allows for speedy progress, and can be used to create incredible patterns and textures.

You can combine this stitch with the other stitches you’ve learned, the chain and single crochet. Try doing one row of single crochet stitches and the next row of double crochet stitches!
And as always, practice makes perfect! This is the most complicated stitch I’ve shown you yet, but I know you can master it! Don’t give up. 🙂
