The pattern gives detailed steps for the first three rounds. Then, it explains the pattern that you might have noticed so you can crochet as many rounds as you want of the pattern!

If the video or pattern on its own is too overwhelming, why not use both? Follow along with the pattern as you watch the video, and I know you can master this pattern. 🙂
