Falling for Flowers: Easy Crochet Pattern

Hey there! I haven’t posted a crochet pattern in a while, so let’s change that!

Once I post the tutorial video, I’ll add it to this article. In the mean time, enjoy these fun flowers!

There is an initial pattern and a variation. The variation is not much different than the initial pattern, but the added half double crochet stitches and different techniques give the flower an extra pop.

Materials:

Falling for Flowers (Original):

Ch3, sl st in 1st ch to form ring

Round 1: ch 1, 10 sc in ring, sl st in 1st st from round to join (10 sc)

Round 2: ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, sl st in 1st st from round to join (20 sc)

Round 3: sl st in same spot as join, *skip next st, 5 dc in next sc, skip next st, sl st in next sc* repeat from *to* four more times, sl st in 1st st from round to join (25 dc, 5 sl)

Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Falling for Flowers (Variation):

Ch 3, sl st in 1st ch to form ring

Round 1: ch 2, 10 hdc in ring, sl st in 1st st from round to join (10 hdc)

Round 2: ch 1, 2 sc in same spot as join, *working in between next hdc stitches, 2 sc* repeat from *to* 8 more times, sl st in 1st from round to join (20 sc)

Round 3: Follow instructions for Round 3 in Original pattern (above)

Fasten off. Weave in ends.

And that’s all there is to it! Give it a shot, and as always, feel free to ask if you have any questions about the pattern. Also, the tutorial video is now live! Watch below for guided instructions on crocheting the Falling for Flowers variation!

Happy Crafting!
