You know the single crochet and the double crochet. Naturally, it follows the next stitch would be a triple crochet!
Sometimes called “treble crochet,” the triple crochet stitch is one of the tallest common stitches. In fact, it’s turning chain is four chains long! That’s pretty tall, right?
As I showed in the tutorial, the triple crochet is very similar to the double crochet. Also, I showed the basic idea can be expanded to create even taller stitches.
If you look on the right side of this blog page, you may notice a box containing different social media symbols. Clicking on the Pinterest symbol will take you to Crafters Autonomous’ Pinterest page. On the “crochet” board, I pinned a chart I found both interesting and humorous on how to crochet taller stitches. Check it out! Or, if you don’t feel like scrolling through the board, click this link here to find the pin.
Now that’s another stitch you know! And we all know they say a stitch in time saves nine. So learn this stitch to… save nine… well, you get the idea. You should learn this stitch and practice, practice, practice!
Until next time, Happy Crafting!
